Equine Blog Writer (Freelance/Part-Time)
Premier Horse Property is seeking a Freelance or Intern Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and execute your creative vision for an equine communications strategy. We are looking for a writer who can keep up with current trends in the horse world and generate content accordingly. We’ll assign some article topics, but you will also get to tell us what we should be writing about, then write about it!
Responsibilities include:
- Researching topics and trends to execute a content strategy and stay up to date
- Writing short and medium-form articles on topics that our audience will love
- Optimizing for SEO where possible and adhering to PHP brand and voice guidelines
- Delivering articles to us on schedule for use on our blog, Facebook, email, and other channels
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of the equine industry, Western/English/broad disciplines preferred
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Ability to manage own work independently and meet deadlines
Pay: Dependent on experience
Work Location: Remote or in-person (Riverton, Wyoming)
