Meet Kate Schafer

Kate Schafer is a founding partner at Premier Horse Property and helped launch the company in its early stages. She designs logos and artwork and brings her creative eye to the company’s brand and customer marketing.

Before starting Premier Horse Property with Clay, Kate earned a degree in Industrial Design from Metro State University in Denver. After she graduated, she worked as Marketing Director for Colorado Saddlery.

After leaving Colorado Saddlery, Kate was General Manager of 567 Equine, where she ran all aspects of the business and ensured that customers received the best farrier service possible.

While working at Premier Horse Property behind the scenes, Kate is also Production Engineer at Brunton International. She oversees product development and manufacture in order to meet tight deadlines and strict standards for quality.

She and Clay have two children who keep them busy in their spare time.
